    We at GIS firmly believe in facilitating our students in encouraging project based and experiential learning that harness 21st century skills of our students with inculcation of critical thinking and design thinking skills. Keeping the same in consideration we have signed various MOUs, Letters of Association with various educational institutes, universities of repute.

    MOU/ASSOCIATIONS/RELEVANT ACTIVITIES:

    • GIS has signed a dedicated MOU with Kings University College Ontario which gives our students an extra advantage in terms of exemption from proficiency tests, special scholarships while seeking admission in this university.
    • GIS has signed MOUs with Chandigarh University, CGC Landran, MCM DAV College Chandigarh and many more MOUs are on anvil in order tosupport our students make informed career decisions and consolidating the position of the school as one of the most progressive schools of Tricity.
    • Our School has received a Letter of Association with IIT Bombay Spoken Tutorials, first of its kind in the Region and students from 6th to 12th grades participated in these certificate programs in all major subjects.
    • An Essay competition on women empowerment has been planned for the month of Aug/Sep by Harvard Women Alumni Association in GIS for students of grades 11th and 12th where first three students will be felicitated with certificates of Exemplary Achievement.
    • GIS students are participating in STEM Boxes 2022 competition organized by Australian National University.
    • Many of our students have undertaken virtual internships from prestigious Universities like OP Jindal, BML Munjal University, UPES Dehradun, Chandigarh University in the fields of their interests and received certificates of participation.
    • One of our students Anushka Verma has graduated as a Young Research Fellow at the Summer Patent School organized by Shoolini University.
    • Our student Avani participated in a two day workshop on Droning organized by Kalpana Chawla Center of Chandigarh University and received certificate of participation.
    • In order to give impetus on project based and experiential learning students of grades 9th to 12th were taken to physical tour of Chandigarh University and CGC Landran to enable them take internships, summer programs, harness their conceptual and critical thinking skills and encourage the entrepreneurs and innovators in them through diverse collaborations.

    Needless to say, these activities will go a long way towards the profile building of our students and GIS will continue guiding the students in holistic aspects of career guidance and counseling to support them in making informed career decisions.
