With the spirit of Raksha Bandhan in our hearts our school decided a visit to max hospital to greet patients and increase their recovery rate by motivating them. We first met with Dr. Sachin Gupta (director of medical oncology). He briefed us on the activities we must do. Then we were separated into two groups, one of which was led by DR. Manu Sharma (Senior Consultant Paediatric & Neonatology). Ms Shefali supervised the second group. First, we presented Raksha Bandhan cards to cancer patients and took photographs with them. Then we met some adorable small tots and wished them a happy Raksha Bandhan and capturing the moments in camera. We also met Dr. Sourabh Kapoor (Consultant Paediatrics & Neonatology) and wished him by giving Raksha Bandhan cards. We also met and handed out cards to the security department. I must say this was a great initiative by the school to visit max hospital and increase their will to recover and to eliminate their loneliness.
