Turning Waste into Wonder: A Journey Towards Sustainability

With this purpose in mind, our Grade III students set out on an enriching field visit to Waste-to-Wonder Park, Sector 48, Chandigarh—where creativity, sustainability, and learning come together in the most inspiring way.
From magnificent sculptures made entirely of scrap to benches and swings built from recycled materials, the young explorers discovered how waste can be reimagined into works of art.
Guided walks and reflective discussions deepened their understanding of the 3 R’s—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle—and showed how small actions can make a big difference.
They returned brimming with ideas, inspired by what they saw, and a little more connected to the planet they call home.
