Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and to create memories that last forever. On 23 December, the festival of Christmas was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at Gillco International School, Mohali. The Fete offered all age-groups a great opportunity to have fun, frolic, a reason to smile, relax and unwind. The students along with their family members came in multitudes to be a part of this fun and food extravaganza. There were a large number of stalls, offering savoury food items and shakes. There were also game stalls offering students to showcase their talents and skills. The request corner as the centre of attraction played good number of songs on demand which made the school grounds throb to the musical beats. There were also a number of rides such as giant wheel, roller coaster available for the students to enjoy and have fun. The jam session gave an opportunity to the students to tap their feet. A fancy dress competition was also organised for junior kids wherein students came dressed up as various characters of Christmas; fairies, Santa Claus, Mother Mary and Jesus Christ. This talent show by children won hearts of the people. Variety of games like Shooting, Train, Wonderlabs, Bouncy, Trampoline etc. were a delight and a special attraction for the children from all age groups. The whole campus was adorned with Christmas decorations- the Christmas tree, Santa Claus and folks dressed in red added to the merry spirit of Christmas. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. Students were very happy to celebrate Christmas at school with their friends and teachers.
